Mushroom Vent Cowl allows air to be released from the top of a soil stack without letting rainwater, debris like leaves or litter, or even small animals enter the plumbing. These nifty devices can be used anywhere a pipe runs outside of the building to allow for nasty plumbing smells to exit the building.

The top is domed so there’s no risk of rainwater collecting – the water simply runs off the top of the vent cowl and onto the ground. The PVCu body is corrosion-resistant and won’t wear away with exposure to water. The ‘vent’ part of the vent cowl means that any toxic or smelly gases that may build up in the plumbing works are safely released at the top of the building through the vent. The non-screw bottom will simply slot into the top of a soil stack.
