Thixoclean is a solvent degreaser to be diluted with water. Once diluted, the product thickens, and when sprayed onto the surface to be cleaned, it foams and clings to it. Left for between 1 and 10 minutes, depending on the soling, it reacts with the grease, oil or bitumen soiling. Stubborn deposits can be agitated with a brush if required.
The residue is then washed off with a water jet from a hose, hand sprayer or pressure washer.
If the soiling is not completely removed, Thixoclean can be reapplied immediately to the wet surface and will cling and continue working.
Thixoclean can be used neat as a conventional solvent in a dip tank, but is ideally used diluted 1:4 with water and sprayed onto heavy soiling or up to 1:10 for lighter soiling.
