The Lotoxane degreaser is the safe alternative to ozone depleting chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents.
Created by The Arrow R&D team, Lotoxane was developed initially for the Navy, for the cleaning of electrical and electronic components within submarines. In such a restricted space the fumes and toxicity associated with traditional solvents prohibited their use for cleaning and degreasing.
After vigorous evaluation Lotoxane was accepted into all three of the armed forces and is NATO coded.
It is now widely used in the UK by companies such as GEC Marconi, Rolls Royce, British Aerospace and overseas, by the Royal Saudi Airforce as well as in the Oil industries in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
Lotoxane is the ideal replacement for chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents. It is safe on metals, plastics and painted surfaces, including chlorinated rubber finishes.
